She has toured internationally to perform the classics as well as contemporary work in dance. Some of her classical Principal roles include Odette/Odile, Aurora, Kitri, Sugar Plum Fairy and Clara in The Nutcracker, Cinderella, Manon, Juliet, The Sylph in Bournanville’s La Sylphide, Nikya in La Bayadere, Ciao Ciao San in Madame Butterfly, Marie in the ballet Marie, Tatiana and Olga in Onegin, Stephanie and Mary Vetsera in Meyerling, Swanhilda in Coppelia, Valencienne in The Merry Widow, and Lise in La Fille mal Gardee. Melody’s most recent international appearance was in the role of Juliet for the Houston Ballet’s Romeo and Juliet tour to Melbourne, Australia. During Melody’s professional career she has also originated roles in new classical and contemporary productions by choreographers Christopher Wheeldon, Justin Peck, Stanton Welch, Ben Stevenson, Christopher Bruce, Jorma Elo, Cathy Marston, Paul Taylor, Aszure Barton, Nicole Fonte, Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, Olivier Wevers, Oliver Halkowich, Jane Weiner, and Garret Smith as well as in her dual role as dancer/choreographer for several films. Melody enjoys all forms of dance and has extensive training and experience with styles rooted in classical ballet, contemporary, jazz, and hip hop. She is passionate about both learning and teaching what she has learned with others. Ms. Mennite has graced the cover of both Dance Magazine and Dance Europe and is celebrated as the Audrey Hepburn of ballet due to her dynamic acting and a predisposition for comedic roles. As an actor Melody has achieved two award winning performances in film and continues to build this part of her resume. Also from a musical family Ms. Mennite was singing onstage before she ever started training in dance. She has been professionally recorded and released and has performed leading singing roles in regional productions of both West Side Story and Oklahoma. Melody’s choreography has been featured on film, in music videos, and on ballet stages throughout the United States. In the last ten years she has been commissioned to create thirteen separate works nationally. Jaclyn joined the National Ballet of Canada in Toronto, Canada as an Apprentice in 2009 and was a member of the Corp de Ballet from 2010-2022, dancing an immense range of roles in the company’s repertoire, including ballets by John Cranko, August Bournonville, James Kudelka, Christopher Wheeldon, Alexi Ratmansky, John Neumeier, Crystal Pite, Wayne Mcgregor, Justin Peck, George Balanchine and Jerome Robins, among many others. Her most featured roles include the Sweet Fairy in Rudolph Nureyev’s The Sleeping Beauty, Tall Swans in James Kudelka’s Swan Lake, and the Tall Woman in Jerome Robins Elite Syncopations. After proudly celebrating 13 years with the National Ballet of Canada, Jaclyn joined the Houston Ballet in 2022. His performing career included positions as principal dancer with Ukrainian National Ballet, the Royal Winnipeg Ballet and the Royal Danish Ballet. He has choreographed ballets for the Mariinsky Ballet, the Royal Danish Ballet, the Royal Swedish Ballet, Dutch National Ballet, New York City Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, The Australian Ballet, Kiev Ballet and the State Ballet of Georgia, as well as for Nina Ananiashvili, Diana Vishneva and Mikhail Baryshnikov. His 1998 work, Dreams of Japan, earned a prestigious Golden Mask Award by the Theatre Union of Russia. In 2005, he was awarded the Benois de la Danse prize for his choreography of Anna Karenina for the Royal Danish Ballet. He was made Knight of Dannebrog by Queen Margrethe II of Denmark in 2001. He won his second Benois de la Danse for Shostakovich Trilogy in 2014. Ratmansky was named artistic director of the Bolshoi Ballet in January 2004. For the Bolshoi Ballet, he choreographed full-length productions of The Bright Stream (2003) and The Bolt (2005) and re-staged Le Corsaire (2007) and the Soviet-era Flames of Paris (2008). Under Ratmansky’s direction, the Bolshoi Ballet was named “Best Foreign Company” in 2005 and 2007 by The Critics’ Circle in London, and he received a Critics’ Circle National Dance Award for The Bright Stream in 2006 and Shostakovich Trilogy in 2020. Guillaume Côté is a native of Lac-Saint-Jean, Québec. He studied at Canada’s National Ballet School and joined The National Ballet of Canada in 1999. He quickly rose through the ranks and was promoted to Principal Dancer in 2004. Since then, Mr. Côté has danced most of the major classical roles with The National Ballet of Canada and has been the leading male figure of the company. He has had several lead roles created on him notably the role of Romeo in Alexei Ratmansky’s new Romeo and Juliet, Prince Charming in James Kudelka’s Cinderella, and the role of Gene Kelly in Derek Deane’s production of Strictly Gershwin, for the English National Ballet. He has also worked closely with such dance icon as Roland Petit, John Neumeier, William Forsythe, Christopher Wheeldon and Crystal Pite. As a guest artist, Mr. Côté has danced with The Royal Ballet, Bolshoi Theatre, American Ballet Theater, New York City Ballet, Teatro alla Scala, English National Ballet, the Mikhailosky Theater of St-Petersburg, Teatro Colón de Buenos Aires, Berlin’s Staatsoper, the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Stuttgart Ballet, Hamburg Ballet, the Alberta Ballet, Verona Opera and the South African Ballet Theater. Mr. Côté has also performed in numerous international galas. In 2013, in addition to his position as a Principal Dancer, Mr. Côté assumed the role of Choreographic Associate with The National Ballet of Canada and today eight of his works are part of the company’s repertoire. In 2012, his work Enkeli won the Audience Choice Award for Best Choreography at The Tenth International Competition for The Erik Bruhn Prize. That same year, his work for ProArteDanza, Fractals: a pattern of chaos, was nominated for a Dora Mavor Moore Award for Outstanding Choreography. In 2013, his work Being and Nothingness entered The National Ballet of Canada’s repertoire and after its initial success, returned in 2015 and again in 2019 during an international tour ending in Russia. Mr. Côté’s first full-length ballet, Le Petit Prince, was presented during the National Ballet’s 2016 season in front of sold-out houses. In 2017, Mr. Côté was chosen to participate in the landmark National Arts Centre Commission Encount3rs performing together with the National Arts Centre Orchestra. In June of 2018, Mr. Côté created in collaboration with the famed Director Robert Lepage, Frame by Frame, a new full-length evening presented at the Four Seasons Centre in Toronto. In 2021, Guillaume Côté founded his own company Côté Danse focused on the multidisciplinary creation of innovative works with the mission of making dance seen and experienced differently. He first creates Crypto, a full-evening work presented on a national tour of 20 performances. In the summer of 2021, he created X(Dix), presented on a tour of 28 performances in 20 cities including Fall for Dance in New York. The work was also filmed for the Fall for Dance North Festival in Toronto and is still presented on the digital art platform Marquee TV. Also in 2021, he created Touch, an immersive multidisciplinary work that was presented 83 times to sold-out houses. In 2023, he co-created Hamlet with Robert Lepage and the work is currently touring internationally. In 2011, Mr. Côté was awarded “La médaille de l’Assemblée Nationale du Québec” for his work in the arts. In September 2014, Mr. Côté was named the Artistic Director of the Festival des Arts de Saint Sauveur, the largest summer dance festival in the country. This began in John Neumeier's Hamburg Ballet where she worked for over 10 years performing some of Neumeier's most iconic ballets as well as gaining experience as an original cast member for numerous new creations that were premiered around the world. During this time, Kristina discovered a passion for choreography and began to pursue this path with an absolute passion, culminating in her ultimate decision to leave the Hamburg Ballet in 2021 in order to be able to devote herself to choreography full time. She uses a recognisable, narrative driven dance language which is influenced by both classical and contemporary elements. Kristina’s inspiration is drawn from a diverse variety of literature, music and biographical work. However, her greatest creative source is the dancers themselves and the creative process in the studio. As of late 2023, Kristina Paulin has been named as the designated associate artistic director and house choreographer of the renowned Ballet Karlsruhe (Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe) and will officially assume her duties in the third quarter of 2024. She then joined the San Francisco Ballet in 1988, was promoted to Principal dancer in 1996 and was known for her lyricism, musicality and broad theatrical range. Upon retiring from the stage in 2002, Ms. Adam quickly gained recognition as one of the dance world’s rising talents in choreography. Ms. Adam has been featured in the New York Times, SF Chronicle, and Dance Magazine to name a few. She received the Isadora Duncan Award for Choreography, and currently directs her own dance company, Julia Adam Dance, which she co founded with her husband Aaron Lucich over a decade ago. Ms. Adam has over 80 works in her repetoire that have been performed nationally and internationally by companies like the San Francisco Ballet, the Houston Ballet, the Joffrey Ballet, The National Ballet of Canada, Ballet Met, Atlanta Ballet, Ballet Memphis, Oregon Ballet theater, Arizona Ballet and more. Her works have been seen on stages all over the world including the Palais Garnier in Paris, Covent Garden in London, New York’s City Center, San Francisco’s War Memorial Opera House, Houston’s Wortham Center for the Performing Arts and at the Four Seasons Center for the Performing Arts in Toronto. In 2004 Walsh joined the Houston Ballet as a member of the corps de ballet and was quickly promoted to soloist in 2006 and then to Principal in 2007. In his nearly 20 years with Houston Ballet Walsh has danced the full range of classical and contemporary repertoire, as well as originating leading roles in countless world premiers. Connor has also performed as a guest artist with numerous companies including Australian Ballet, Norwegian Ballet, Washington Ballet, Teatro Colon, and New National Theater theater in Tokyo.
